ALERT: Major to Extreme Heat Risk This Week

An Extreme Heat Watch and Heat Advisory is issued for portions of southeast Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry from 11AM until 7PM EDT (see attached Heat Advisory graphic). High temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 90s, with peak heat index values between 108°F and 116°F.
