Record Heat for the Intermountain West and Northern Plains; Heavy Rainfall and Severe Weather Threats

Record setting heat is expected over the next several days from the Intermountain West through the northern Plains. Furthermore, fire weather concerns increase with dry and breezy conditions. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorm threats for the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys, central Appalachians and Southeast today. Recent active weather has resulted in the rescheduling of spotter training classes for Denison (Crawford Co) and Carroll (Carroll Co). They have been rescheduled with the new dates listed below. New Dates:

Carroll (Carroll Co.) - Thursday, March 27th 630-8 PM at the Carroll Fire Department (801 Bella Vista Dr, Carroll, IA 51401)
Denison (Crawford Co.) - Thursday April 3rd 7-830 PM. This will be a virtual class. (Link to be posted soon.)
