The weather has been quiet this afternoon across Iowa but skies have
been mostly cloudy across the state. High temperatures this afternoon
were in the mid to upper 40s. Winds have been northerly between 10
and 15 miles per hour. By the early evening, the dense cloud cover
will still be around the area.

Across the rest of the Midwest, cloud cover has been rather
widespread. There were rain showers in portions of Nebraska and Kansas
this afternoon.

For tonight, skies will be cloudy but overall conditions will remain
quiet. Overnight low temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s.
Warmer air pushes into Iowa through the middle of this week. High
temperatures Tuesday will be in the mid 50s, the increasing into the
mid 60s for Wednesday and Thursday. With the push of warmer air also
comes the possibility of rain showers and thunderstorms on Thursday.
