A stationary front will continue to bring heavy to excessive rainfall to South Florida into Saturday with localized and urban flooding possible. Just after 6 p.m. on April 20, a F3 tornado touched down in Scotland County Missouri. The tornado started approximately 3 miles southwest of Arbela, MO and moved to the northeast towards Prospect Grove, MO. The tornado traveled to the northeast and was on the ground for about 9 miles.
There were no reports of injuries or fatalities with this particular storm. Around seven houses were damaged on the east side of Arbela and a gas station was leveled when the tornado moved through the area. Total damage estimates from the storm were around $250,000.
