Linn County, Iowa is StormReady!


    
The National Weather Service office in the Quad Cities has recognized Linn County, Iowa as StormReady. The recognition will be formally presented at an upcoming ceremony.
 
The NWS designed StormReady to help communities, businesses, and other organizations better prepare for and mitigate the effects of extreme weather-related events. StormReady sets an industry standard for severe weather preparedness and safety.  
 

Linn County is the 37th county in Iowa to be recognized as StormReady.
