A brief tornado touched down over a fairly rural area of northern Walton County on Monday May 3, 2021. The tornado mainly snapped several trees along a small path on either side of Ike Stone Road NW. There was minor structural damage to a fence and home between Beagle Run and Paul Verner Road where a few larger pines were snapped around the property. At this location, winds likely peaked around 85 mph, which is a high-end EF-0. Based on the ground survey, the tornado appeared to lift just northeast of the Ike Stone Road and Mt. Vernon Road area where no additional damage was seen. This tornado was captured on home video and sent to Walton County EMA who shared it with the NWS.
