No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms across north Georgia this
morning will become scattered to widespread across both north and
central Georgia this afternoon. Winds around thunderstorms are
likely to be gusty and variable. A few strong storms may be
possible across north Georgia today with strong gusty winds that
could cause damage to trees. Rainfall rates may exceed 1 to
2 inches per hour, though some areas may simultaneously receive
little to no rainfall. Storms will continue off and on through
the weekend with increasing coverage through Monday. Total
rainfall across the area looks to be 1 to 3 inches across north
Georgia and 0.5 to 1.5 inches across central Georgia. With the
wet pattern, RH values will mostly remain above 50 percent
through the weekend. Areas with clear conditions at night will
quickly fall to the dewpoint, and may result in patchy to dense
fog through the late night and into the morning. Conditions will
see frequent cloud cover, though conditions each morning may see
significant low cloud coverage. Winds will be generally southerly
at 5 to 10 mph, however once storms begin expect highly variable
wind conditions. Mixing heights will reach 3 to 4kft in north
Georgia and 5 to 7kft in central Georgia each afternoon.
