.DISCUSSION...

No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values and winds will remain outside of
critical thresholds.

Mostly dry conditions are expected today though a few
thunderstorms are possible across the far southern fire zones
this afternoon along a stationary front. Minimum RH values will
fall into the low 40s across the northern districts; increasing
into the 50s across central and southern GA. Surface winds are
variable and less than 5 mph, becoming west by this afternoon,
and becoming light and variable overnight out a head of the next
round of rain.

Rainfall Saturday into Sunday is expected to bring an additional
0.5- 1.5" of rain for most of the fire zones, and while that
won`t remove us from the drought completely it will continue to
alleviate some of the more critical fuel conditions out there.
Dry conditions are expected to settle back in Tuesday of next
week.
