No hazardous fire weather conditions expected through the weekend.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and
and isolated to scattered storms are expected in central Georgia
Sunday afternoon. Heat holds through the weekend with heat indices
rising to 95 to 105. Winds generally out of the northeast 2 to 7 mph
through the period. Nearby afternoon thunderstorms may cause winds
to become variable and gusty. Some patchy fog is possible tonight,
especially in low lying areas. Any fog should clear with sunrise and
mixing heights climb to 3.5-6kft each afternoon this weekend.
