.DISCUSSION...

A Fire Danger Statement is in effect for Northern and portions of
Central Georgia through this afternoon due to low relative
humidity.

RHs have fallen into the 20s and 30s this afternoon across north
and central Georgia within our cooler airmass overspreading the
area. 10 hour fuels have quickly dried despite recent rains, so
FDS is in effect through 8 PM. Temperatures will be below normal
again tonight, though not as cold as last night, so no widespread
frost concerns for the mountains and valleys.

Tomorrow will see clear skies with dry airmass remaining in
place. Expect RHs once again to fall into the 20s and 30s. Winds
will turn to the SW but remain light at 5-10 mph. Mixing heights
will rise to 5-7 kft depending on location and SW at 5-15 mph,
with strongest winds in the northern portions of the state.
Ventallation rates will vary as a result with best conditions for
burning across the north.
