...HIGH FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR
NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES...

Surface high pressure east of Georgia will keep dry conditions in
place. Minimum RH values this afternoon will range from 22-27% in
the northern districts and 20-24% in the southern districts. With
the low RH and very dry fuels, a Fire Danger Statement is in
effect for north and central Georgia from noon to 8 PM today.
20 ft winds will start out light, increasing out of the W-SW to
around 4-8 mph this afternoon. Transport winds out of the W at 9-
14 mph in north Georgia and S/SW at 5-10 mph in central Georgia.
Mixing heights will peak at 9-11kft.

Another Fire Danger Statement will likely be needed tomorrow as
min RH values range from 23-30 percent. 20 ft winds will be
around 3-6 mph out of the SW with transport winds around
5-10 mph. Mixing heights again peak at 9-11 kft. Dry conditions
will persist until rain chances increase Saturday. Please
