1.33 inches of rain fell in Columbus which breaks the dailiy record of 1.26 inches set in 1962.

No significant weather events occurred across north and central Georgia this past April.

May Outlook

 

Based on the Climate Prediction Center's outlook for May, far southern Georgia has 40-50% chance of above normal temperatures. North and central Georgia have an equal chance of above or below normal precipitation.
