December Outlook

Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s December outlook, all of north and central Georgia has a 40 to 50% chance of above normal temperatures.  For precipitation, all of north and central Georgia has equal chances of above, normal, or below normal precipitation. 

 

Winter Outlook

Based on the Climate Prediction Center’s Winter (December/January/February) outlook, all of north and central Georgia has a 33 to 40% chance of above normal temperatures.  For precipitation, all of north and central Georgia has equal chances of above, normal, or below normal precipitation. 

 

December Drought Outlook

Based on the U.S. Monthly Drought Outlook for December, portions of northern Georgia may see an improvement in drought conditions and in some portions of northern Georgia drought conditions may be removed.  A new Drought Information Statement will be posted to our webpage on December 5th and on December 19th.
