Record high temperatures will remain possible through Friday, but a significant cool down to ‘fall-like’ weather will occur this weekend behind a cold front.

A generally high pressure dominant weather pattern across the Southeast will keep conditions dry. Rain is needed, as drought conditions ranged from abnormally dry (D0) to moderate drought (D2) as of last Thursday.
