National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Sunny, breezy and cool conditions are expected today with highs remaining in the 50s for most areas. Winds will be out of the north at 10 to 15 MPH for most of the day, but will decrease late afternoon as a high pressure ridge moves overhead.
Here's your Wednesday traveling across the United States. Most of the U.S. will be dry but it will be cloudy with chances of precipitation across parts of the northern tier of States. The precipitation will be mostly rain, but snow is expected across North Dakota and the Piedmont of Western New York and Pennsylvania, into the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia. A wintry mix may occur further east across the New York Adirondacks. There will be a cold rain from the Mid-Atlantic region into Coastal New England. A chance of showers will occur along and off the immediate Gulf Coast and into Florida. Otherwise, warmest temperatures will be across the Florida Peninsula and across the Desert Southwest. Coldest temperatures will occur along the Canadian border and Great Lakes.
Clear and cold conditions are in store tonight with low temperatures in the 30s. Patchy frost will be possible and a few spots may actually hit freezing before sunrise Thursday.
No travel issues for Thursday, as surface high pressure keeps the area cool to mild, with no rainfall expected. Highs will be coolest in the east in the 60s, while warming into the lower 70s west! Winds are expected to be light and variable.
If you're planning to be out Thursday evening or early Friday morning, here's a look at what to expect. Mostly clear skies will be the rule! Temperatures will fall through the 50s Thanksgiving evening, then fall quickly into the 40s by sunrise Friday morning. Highs will warm quickly into the 70s by afternoon with breezy south winds 10 to 15 mph.
