Dry and breezy conditions will bring elevated to critical fire weather conditions across portions of the northern and central High Plains through this weekend, where fuels remain largely receptive. NWS Hastings – Regional Weather Summary Product Discontinuation

Effective, Monday, July 1, 2024, the Hastings, NE NWS Weather Forecast Office will discontinue issuance of the Regional Weather Summary (RWS) product. The last RWS product will be issued during the late afternoon of June 30, 2024.

The information contained within the RWS can be obtained through other NWS Hastings products, such as the Area Forecast Discussion (AFD), social media (X/Twitter and Facebook), the Weather Story and Graphicasts.
