.DISCUSSION...Dry and seasonable weather is expected beneath a
ridge of high pressure today. However, a disturbance passing to
the north may bring critical fire weather conditions to the north
Thursday and possibly to much of the area on Friday. Isolated to
scattered thunderstorms are possible across the north Thursday
afternoon through Friday morning. A system dropping out of the
north this weekend is expected to bring a cool down with a chance
for showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the northern mountains
Sunday and Monday.
