A front will bring scattered showers and storms to portions of the Central and Eastern US. Severe storms are expected in parts of the Great Plains and Ozarks today. Meanwhile, dangerous heat will intensify across the Desert Southwest and Intermountain West. Hazy Skies on Wednesday Due To Numerous Wildfires Out West

Wildfire smoke will continue to affect the entire region. While western fires will contribute to some smoke, local fires seen in this loop will contribute to surface smoke levels.
