Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall in the Southeast, Montana, and Iowa; Lowell Begins to Impact Hawaii

Strong thunderstorms with damaging winds and heavy rain are expected across portions of the Southeast. Thunderstorms may produce large hail across portions of Montana. Heavy rainfall could produce flash flooding across Iowa and vulnerable areas in Utah. Lowell will bring heavy rain, dangerous swells and rip currents to portions of Hawaii. Welcome to the National Weather Service's new radar webpage located at radar.weather.gov. The redesigned weather viewer was completed in an effort to provide better radar viewing services to the public. On this new page, we provide more radar products with images updating more frequently and at four times higher resolution than before. Our GIS-based web page allows users to integrate our radar data into their own platforms.
