Flash Flooding Concerns in Hawaii; Elevated Fire Weather Conditions for Parts of Coastal New England

A system currently moving over a large portion of the Hawaiian islands has resulted in heavy showers and thunderstorms especially over the windward areas. Flash flooding and coastal surges will be possible through Sunday afternoon. Color Sunday Runners

Several of the NWS staff helped organize, or participate in, the Color Sunday Adventure Challenge 10k Trail race or 3K Team Adventure Run on the Grand Mesa.
