Critical Fire Weather Conditions in the Southern Plains; Showers and Thunderstorms Linger Over Florida

Gusty winds and dry conditions will promote elevated to critical fire weather conditions across the southern Plains and southern Rockies. A cold front will linger over Florida through Tuesday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms, and potential flash flooding concerns. Color Sunday Runners

Several of the NWS staff helped organize, or participate in, the Color Sunday Adventure Challenge 10k Trail race or 3K Team Adventure Run on the Grand Mesa.
