Severe Weather in the Plains; Heavy Rainfall in the Northern Plains, Tennessee Valley and Southeast

Numerous severe thunderstorms with a potential for 60-80 mph winds, along with tornadoes (some strong), and large to very large hail are expected across the northern and central Plains through tonight. First Triple Digit Temperature of 2018!

The Grand Junction Regional Airport officially hit 101 degrees on Wednesday, June 13th at 3:54 PM MDT! This was the first time Grand Junction hit the triple digits this year, and it was the first time since July 18, 2017! Wednesday's high also breaks the record for June 13th which was 100 degrees, last set 100 years ago in 1918.
