.DISCUSSION...
A shortwave will move over the area today bringing some mid to
high level clouds. A few showers, maybe a thunderstorm or two,
will be possible in the afternoon. More importantly, upper level
winds will become a bit stronger than seen recently. These winds
will allow some mixing to occur this afternoon and evening. A cold
front will then approach the area Friday causing some gusty
afternoon winds and snow for higher elevations of the northern
mountains.. Once the front moves through Saturday, a return to dry
and warm conditions will begin once again.
