.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...

Tropical Depression Fausto passes north of the islands today,

leading to light and variable over the coastal waters. Southeasterly

winds follow immediately in its wake and sweep from east to west

across the island chain through Thursday night. As Fausto moves

off to the northwest and high pressure builds to the north, east-

northeast trades will build back in and strengthen to fresh to

locally strong levels Friday through the weekend.
