In March 2024, the National Weather Service changed the Universal Geographic Codes (UGC) for all Fire Weather Zones in the state of Hawaii. More details about the change will be sent as a Service Change Notice later this year and posted to this page.

In preparation for a fire weather zone change in March 2024, the following table lists the existing UGCs and zone names and highlights the 11 zones that will be split into 26 separate zones (plus one renamed for clarity). Strikethrough text indicates zones that were split or renamed.
