Chances for showers returns today, with much better chances arriving tonight. A few embedded thunderstorms are likely as well, but no severe weather is expected. The threat for showers comes to an end heading through Wednesday, with dry weather expected to round out the work week. Seasonably mild temperatures today and Wednesday gives way to bit cooler conditions Thursday, with temperatures warming again on Friday. Gusty southwest winds are expected on Wednesday, which will likely result in hazardous swimming conditions on at least some of our beaches.
