Upper level high pressure will remain to our west keeping all the heat over the western part of the nation. For Arkansas, temperatures look to average close to what they should be or even a few degrees below average through early in the week.
High temperatures today are only expected to climb into the 80s across the state with a good dose of sunshine as well. A few showers can not be ruled out over the southwest, mainly this morning.
Dew point temperatures, which are a measure of moisture in the air, will continue to head downwards this weekend. In fact, we will replace the mid 70s and higher dew points with those in the upper 50s to mid 60s this weekend.
