Rain chances will remain in place across the state from time to time through at least Wednesday. Through Wednesday afternoon, widespread additional rainfall amounts of 0.5-1 inch is possible with isolated amounts up to 2 inches possible.
Rainfall has been most plentiful over west, southwest, and central Arkansas over the past 48 hours. Amounts nearing 4 inches has been observed in the highlighted (circled) areas. Additional rainfall in these locations could lead to flash flooding.
A marginal risk of severe weather is possible over western Arkansas between midday today and the afternoon hours. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary hazards.
