Near normal temperatures are expected through this weekend before above average conditions move into the state. By the middle of next week, high temperatures are expected to get into the mid 80s to lower 90s.
Rain chances will be present on Saturday across the southeastern half of the state, but the highest chances will be reserved to far southern, southeastern, and east-central Arkansas.
According to the 6 to 10 Day Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center, Arkansas can expect above average temperatures and precipitation for the period between May 14-18.
