Near normal temperatures are expected through this weekend before above average conditions move into the state. By the middle of next week, high temperatures are expected to get into the mid 80s to lower 90s.
Rain chances will be likely across the Natural State as a low pressure system tracks across the state from the south. The high rainfall amounts are expected across eastern Arkansas where 1-1.5 inches will be possible through Monday. Lesser amounts are likely as you go west across the state.
According to the 6 to 10 Day Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center, Arkansas can expect above average temperatures and precipitation for the period between May 14-18.
