Above Average Temperatures for the West and Central Plains; Lake Effect Snow Continues

Well above average temperatures will prevail across the Plains and the West Coast this week, while a cold front will bring Arctic air to the South and East Coast Thursday and Friday. Borden/Howard County Tornadoes June 5

A family of tornadoes struck the area around Lake J. B. Thomas Sunday evening. Four tornadoes developed from a supercell thunderstorm near the Borden and Howard County line north of Big Spring around 7 PM CDT.
