Extremely critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop across the Great Basin and Southwest today, and exceptionally dry and windy conditions will promote rapid wildfire spread through the weekend. Mr. Ray Fagen , Meteorologist in Charge of the National Weather Service, Midland/Odessa presents a Thirty Fifty Year Service Award to Mr. John Moffatt of Seminole, Texas. The awards presentation took place at the Seminole Sentinel newspaper office on October 6, 1998.
