A Heat Advisory has been issued for the very southern extent of the Mid-South as a cold front stalls. Heat indices in excess of 105F are expected in these areas.
Today will be much cooler in comparison to yesterday, behind a cold front. This front is expected to stall south of the TN/MS stateline, keeping heat indices 105+F in southern portions of the Mid-South. A Heat Advisory has been issued for 10AM-9PM in these areas today.
Temperatures will trend cooler through Friday behind last night's/this morning's cold front. The front will stall over N MS today warranting a Heat Advisory along southern portions of the Mid-South.
