An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect until 8 PM tomorrow across the Mid-South. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Heat index values will remain in the triple digits with highs in the upper 90s to near 100° tomorrow. Slightly less oppressive heat and humidity will likely arrive Wednesday through the end of the week.
