Temperatures will warm well into the 50s and 60s by this afternoon. As southerly flow continues to bring warmer and moister air, temperatures may climb a degree or two higher; closer to the image on the right. Enjoy the warmth and sunshine! Temperatures will fall to near or slightly below freezing again tonight, so any melting that occurs may leave icy roadways for Saturday.
Low temps will cool below freezing for much of the Mid-South through Sunday morning. Any lingering snow / ice that melts during the daytime will refreeze overnight, leading to icy conditions.
