Heat indices will surge 105+F tomorrow as humidity increases in the Delta Region.

There is a Slight Risk for a few severe thunderstorms west of the Mississippi River late Friday afternoon into Friday evening. Damaging winds and localized heavy rainfall are the primary threats.

Slightly cooler temperatures expected into early next week. Heat indices 105+F will be witnessed mainly in the Delta Region tomorrow.

A cold front will increase rain chances by Friday afternoon. Be sure to keep chances in mind and plan accordingly.
