Snowfall of greater than 3 inches is likely north of a line from east central Arkansas through far northwest Mississippi through late Sunday. South of this line, a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected.
Wind chills will plummet behind an Arctic cold front passage early Friday. Sub-zero wind chills are forecast from northeast Arkansas through the Missouri bootheel and northern West Tennessee Saturday morning. Bitter cold wind chills will continue into early next week.
