What: Severe Storms Possible
When: This Evening through about 10 pm.
Where: Far southern Wisconsin, with the best odds along the Illinois border.
Hazards: Damaging Winds, Large Hail, and a tornado or two are possible.

These Hazards Will Depend On The Track Of Low Pressure, And How Unstable The Airmass Over The Area Gets.

Late Afternoon Into This Evening:

Low pressure is forecast to slide eastward, and remain just south of the area into this evening. A warm front will also push northeastward into northern Illinois. Scattered thunderstorms early this evening will impact far southern WI.The storms will then drop quickly southeastward into Illinois. These storms will be capable of all forms of severe weather, including large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes.

Clouds over the area have limited instability and reduced the severe threat somewhat. There is a greater threat for severe weather south of the state line. Still, the severe weather risk remains over mainly far southern portions of Wisconsin into this evening.
