National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Showers have finally reached our forecast area, though as of this writing (8:30 pm), the precipitation has diminished quite a bit. Below is a radar loop from the late afternoon into the early evening.

This diminishing trend will continue through the night, with scattered to isolated showers as well as a few thunderstorms. The threat for strong thunderstorms has diminished quite a bit, but there is still a small chance for small hail and gusty winds through the early morning hours.

Another round of storms is possible on Sunday evening. These will be pop up, hit or miss showers and maybe a thunderstorm.
