There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather across most of East Central Florida, with a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for the rest of the area. Threats include strong to locally damaging wind gusts of 50-60 mph, hail around 1 inch in diameter, frequent lightning strikes, and locally heavy rainfall. These strong to severe storms are expected between 4 PM and 9 PM.
There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall across most of East Central Florida. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to ponding of water on roadways and minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. These storms and heavy showers are expected between 4 PM and 10 PM.
A Moderate Risk for dangerous rip currents continues at the central Florida Atlantic beaches. Remember to always swim near a lifeguard and never enter the water alone.
