Peak heat index values between 106-110 are forecast across the advisory area. Still hot across Okeechobee and Treasure coast counties where peak heat indices will reach 103-107.

Rain chances are noticeably lower across southern sections where drier air exists. Prior to storms, peak heat indices will reach 106-110 from Osceola and Brevard northward where a Heat Advisory is in effect.

The forecast cone takes the storm well east of Florida, but coastal impacts are forecast next week.
