The primary storm hazard will be strong to locally damaging winds 40 to 60 mph, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall that cloud lead to flooding. A brief tornado cannot be ruled out where multiple storm boundaries interact. Temperatures remain near to above normal with highs in the low to mid 90s, resulting in peak afternoon heat indices between 102 and 107 degrees, and mostly Moderate HeatRisk impacts forecast.

Peak afternoon heat indices generally have a 50% to 80% to reach or exceed 105°F. Major HeatRisk impacts are forecast for much of the area.
