Thunderstorms and Heavy Rains Across Portions of the Central and Eastern US; Heat Expands to Portions of the East

Widespread showers and thunderstorms, some severe, may produce heavy downpours and flash flooding across much of the eastern and central U.S. Dangerous heat will continue in the Pacific Northwest and expand across portions of the East. Flood Stage Changes at Blair and Omaha

Effective April 2, 2020, moderate flood stage will change at the 
Blair river gage on the Missouri River. In addition, action and 
minor flood stage will change at the Omaha river gage. These changes
reflect ongoing flooding impacts that occur at these levels.

Previous Action Stage  : 23.5 ft  New Action Stage  : no change
Previous Minor Stage   : 26.5 ft  New Minor Stage   : no change
Previous Moderate Stage: 28.2 ft  New Moderate Stage: 28.5 ft
Previous Major Stage   : 33.0 ft  New Major Stage   : no change

(OMHN1) Missouri River - Omaha
Previous Action Stage  : 25.0 ft  New Action Stage  : 21.0 feet
Previous Minor Stage   : 29.0 ft  New Minor Stage   : 27.0 feet
Previous Moderate Stage: 32.0 ft  New Moderate Stage: no change
Previous Major Stage   : 40.0 ft  New Major Stage   : no change
