Winds will increase Saturday afternoon as a weather system moves through the region. Strongest winds will be across the Waterville Plateau, parts of the Columbia Basin, Palouse, southeast Washington, the Lewiston Clarkston Valley and the Spokane area.
Late afternoon and early evening showers will be capable of producing rain, snow, and graupel. A few of the stronger cells may be capable of producing a few lightning strikes as well.
