A low moving into the area will introduce instability along with moisture into the Inland Northwest. The combination of the two will produce rain showers this evening for most of northeast Oregon and eastern Washington. Thursday a cooling trend starts, and the precipitation becomes more persistent with the introduction of mountain snow. This will persist through the weekend, with the heaviest amounts of precipitation are anticipated around south-central Oregon.
Rainfall totals for Wednesday through Thursday evening.
