Areas of Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall through This Weekend

Several rounds of severe thunderstorms are ongoing and expected from the central and southern High Plains to the Southeast U.S. through Sunday. Large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes will be possible. A large low pressure system across the western and central U.S. brought up to two feet of snow to the Teton and Wyoming Ranges Sunday and Monday.  High WInds developed across Johnson County shortly early Tuesday morning. A peak wind gust of 67 mph was recorded at the Buffalo Airport Tuesday morning. Image
