 .DISCUSSION...
An approaching cold front will promote increased shower and storm
chances today, but it doesn't cross the area from the west until
Tuesday night. This feature should provide a focus for strong to
severe thunderstorms both today and Tuesday prior to exiting to the
east, along with the potential for isolated instances of flash
flooding. The front is followed by an extended period of dry
weather, along with a brief break in the heat and humidity. Hot
weather returns for Friday and the weekend.
