 .DISCUSSION...
 A couple rounds of thunderstorms are forecast to continue into the 
 afternoon and evening. Some storms may be severe. The main threats 
 from these storms will be damaging wind gusts, hail, and locally 
 heavy rainfall that could cause flash flooding. A tornado or two 
 will be possible.
 
 Weather conditions will begin to clear up by Wednesday, with 
 lingering showers and perhaps a storm or two in the northeast 
 mountains. Cooler and drier air is in store for the rest of the 
 week, though smoke from distant wildfires will likely cause hazy 
 skies at times. Unfortunately, unsettled weather returns just in 
 time for the weekend.
