 .DISCUSSION...
Very warm and somewhat humid air remains in place through Saturday,
conducive to scattered afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms again. A low pressure system over the midwest will
intensify as it cuts up through the Great Lakes on Saturday,
bringing a strong cold front eastward toward the area. That front
will enhance shower and thunderstorm development to our west
Saturday afternoon, with that activity then trekking east across our
neck of the woods Saturday night.

These thunderstorms could be strong to severe Saturday evening.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms over the middle
Ohio Valley and northern West Virginia, with damaging wind gusts the
primary threat, and a slight risk in interior southeast Ohio, where
 a tornado is also possible.

The cold front itself will whip across the area overnight Saturday
night, ending the rain from west to east first thing Easter Sunday
morning. The rest of Easter Sunday will turn out dry, but cooler in
the wake of the front. After topping out in the 70s and 80s again on
Saturday, high temperatures will be just in the 50s and 60s on
 Sunday and Monday.

A reinforcing shot of cold air will knock highs down to the 40s and
50s for Tuesday. Nights will become colder early next week, with
overnight and early morning frost and freeze conditions becoming
increasingly likely through Wednesday morning, as a large high
pressure system builds into the area.

The second half of next week brings a stout warming trend, with
continued dry weather, as the large high moves off to the east.
