 .DISCUSSION...
 Hot, dry weather will continue for Wednesday and Thursday. A hazy 
 sky from distant wildfire smoke should limit high temperatures to 
 the mid 90s. Together with dew points in the mid to upper 60s, this 
 should keep heat indices generally below the triple digit mark.
 
 The chance for showers and thunderstorms returns as early as Friday 
 afternoon, and will last through the weekend as a cold front moves 
 into the area. Some of these storms could produce heavy downpours 
 that may lead to localized flooding, along with strong wind gusts.
