 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 252 PM EDT Sat Mar 21 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Overall, a calm and relatively clear night is expected across the
 area.

It will be much warmer on Sunday, with many locations rising into
the 80s outside of the mountains. However, showers and storms are
expected to develop by late afternoon or early evening as a cold
front approaches the area. Some of these storms could be strong to
severe with large hail and damaging winds, particularly in Southeast
Ohio and the Mid Ohio Valley region.

More seasonable temperatures are expected for Monday behind the
front, along with a brief period of dry weather through mid week.
