Very Cold Temperatures Round Out the Month of January

Dangerously cold air and gusty winds will create life-threatening wind chills through Tuesday, with extreme cold persisting all week.  Lingering lake enhanced snow showers continue into the evening. 
 additional light accumulations possible. Temperatures will drop into 
 the single digits and single digits below zero, and wind chills will 
 fall to dangerously cold levels tonight and Tuesday morning. This 
 freezing weather will last all week, and temperatures are not 
 expected to rise above freezing through next weekend. Please check
