 .DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will move across the region this
afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could pack a punch with
damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours that could lead to localized
flooding, especially in northeast Kentucky and urban areas. A cold
front will sweep through tonight, bringing cooler and drier air to
the northern half of the area for Thursday. High temperatures on
Thursday will only reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. The break
from the rain will be short-lived, as the front moves back north on
Friday. Expect a wet start to the Memorial Day weekend, with showers
and thunderstorms likely on Friday and continuing off and on through
 Monday.
