 .DISCUSSION...
 A cold front slowly crosses the area today keeping rain showers, 
 drizzle, and low clouds around through the night. There are chances 
 for some thunderstorms this afternoon across the foothills and 
 mountains, but the severe weather threat remains low. Rainfall will 
 be moderate to heavy at times this afternoon and evening. Lingering 
 light showers and drizzle possible on Thursday as cooler air enters 
 behind the front. Frost in the mountains will be probable Friday 
 morning depending on cloud cover.
 
 Drier conditions briefly take hold for much of Friday, but 
 additional disturbances are expected over the weekend amid a warming 
 trend.
