 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 248 PM EDT Mon Jul 6 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue this
afternoon and early evening, especially across southeast Ohio and
western West Virginia. Some of these storms could produce heavy
downpours and gusty winds strong enough to knock down tree limbs.

The weather will dry out a bit for Tuesday and Wednesday, with only
a isolated to scattered afternoon showers expected. High
temperatures will remain in the middle to upper 80s. A cold front
will bring a better chance for widespread rain and thunderstorms
back to the area Thursday through the weekend.
