 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 233 PM EDT Mon Sep 7 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
High pressure will keep the region dry and warm through Wednesday,
though morning river valley fog will cause localized visibility
 reductions.

Shower and thunderstorm chances return with a cold front Wednesday
night into early Friday morning. Heavy rain and training storms
may bring at least a low-end risk of localized flash flooding,
primarily on Thursday, along with a low potential for severe
 weather Thursday afternoon.
