 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 237 AM EDT Sun Apr 19 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
A cold front has provided a wetting rain for the area suppressing
fire danger for today. Much colder air settles in for the new work
week with potential for critically low minimum afternoon relative
humidity percentages in the 20s Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday brings
a disturbance that may provide additional rainfall amounts to the
area which should suppress fire danger for Wednesday, however drier
weather comes back for Thursday and Friday as well as lower RH
 values and elevated wind.
