 .DISCUSSION...
 A dangerous, enduring heat wave builds across the area starting 
 today as high temperatures will climb into the 90s. The heat will 
 become even more intense on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with 
 high temperatures reaching the upper 90s to near 100 degrees. When 
 combined with the oppressive humidity, it will feel like it is well 
 over 105 degrees during the afternoon hours. Extreme Heat Warnings 
 have been issued for much of the region. Overnight temperatures will 
 stay very warm in the 70s. Please stay hydrated, check on vulnerable 
 neighbors, and limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of 
 the day. 
 
 Expect mostly dry weather through Thursday, but rain and 
 thunderstorm chances will return by the holiday weekend.
